Enchiladas for Easter Breakfast
Heighten awareness of global outreach by serving ethnic foods for your Easter morning breakfast. This is a wonderful way to help your congregation catch the vision that the good news of Easter is for all the people of the world.

WHAT'S INVOLVED?
 | Make your usual preparations for your Easter breakfast, except substitute ethnic foods for the usual eggs and sausage menu. |
| Gather recipes from persons of various ethnic background from your church or community. |
| Include placemats or table favors that emphasize the global mission of the church. |
| Provide literature about one or more of your congregation's or denomination's mission points (local or global). |
DO'S AND DON'TS
| DO......include a global mission outreach element in your sunrise (or Sonrise) service. |
| DO......offer alternative foods for persons on bland diets. |
| DO......consider focusing on one particular country or people group. |
| DO......invite representatives of your mission group to be present. |
| DO......consider donating the proceeds received (above cost) to the missionary endeavor you emphasize. |
| DO......use this idea at other times of the year, not just at Easter. For example, it would make a great mission weekend idea as well. |
| DON'T......neglect a focus on a local mission ministry, especially among persons of other ethnic background from your congregation. |
| DON'T......forget to publicize the special breakfast fare. This will heighten the interest in what, for some (unfortunately), may have become a routine service. |
| DON'T......try to offer too many menu options. It is better to focus on one or two kinds of ethnic food. |
