offers CoachNet®,
an online resource, at discount
MOUNT JOY, PA – New Life Ministries and CoachNet® have joined together to
offer online resources to leaders and their congregations.
CoachNet®, a web-based resource that promotes congregational growth,
health and new church development, was created in 1999 by Robert E. Logan to provide resources and networking via the Internet. New Life
Ministries, which launched its web site earlier this year, also focuses on resourcing churches and denominations in evangelism, congregational growth
and vitality, and church planting, especially from an Anabaptist/believers' church perspective.
Through the new alliance, New Life Ministries is able to offer annual memberships in CoachNet® at a reduced price of $75 per year over the normal
rate of $98. Also, CoachNet® has added several New Life Ministries publications to its list of resources.
As an online tool, CoachNet® offers several significant resources. CompuCoach Online® is a reference library drawing from 250 books and
resources. In includes online checklists, 130 coaching guides, and over 250 printable worksheets for evaluation and action planning. Topics
addressed in CompuCoach Online® include church health and growth; church
planting and missions; vision, planning, and change strategies; leadership and management; and the cell-celebration church philosophy of ministry.
In addition to this extensive online resource, CoachNet® offers discussion
forums and training programs on similar topics.
A unique feature of CoachNet® is the extensive coaching toolkit, a resource
that allows mentors and mentorees to enhance their coaching relationship online in privacy. Members can track areas such as
progress, problems, prayer concerns, key issues, action plans, and future appointments. This feature is especially helpful for new congregations
and their coaches, but it also has applications to any congregation/consultant relationship.
Through CoachNet®, New Life Ministries is establishing several networks,
both across denominational lines and within specific denominations. One network includes the nearly 30 Natural Church Development consultants
from Anabaptist/believers' church denominations. Other networks will be established as the need arises.
