This seminar is the product of a lifetime spent on serving the church. It is informed by research and an average of 125 on-site visits to local churches each year for over 25 years.

Seminar Topics
Session One
| How churches have corporate personalities much as individuals do. |
| How understanding your church's personality can assist in understanding, predicting, and shaping a church's behavior. |
| First dominant factor in assessing a church's personality: spiritual maturity. |
Session Two
| Second dominant factor: size of the church. |
| Behaviors and attitudes will be broken down for the following ranges: |
| Churches | Average Worship Attendance Size | |
| Small | 79 or less | |
| Mid-size | 80 to 149 | |
| Large | 150 and up |
Session Three
| Third dominant factor: direction of the flow – whether a church is growing or declining; and the implications of the direction of the flow. |
| Fourth dominant factor: culture of the community. |
Session Four
| Fifth dominant factor: personality of the pastor. |
The Presenter
Our speaker is Jim Moss, an experienced seminar leader and author of several books including People Spots. Jim is also the author of the widely circulated "People Spots" newsletter.
Jim has conducted hundreds of seminars with thousands of participants over the past 20 years. Seminars have been conducted in 20 denominations and 21 states. Jim has developed six major seminars:

He has worked for the Eastern
Conference of the Churches of God since 1977. His current assignments include
responsibility for planting new churches, helping with renewal efforts, and
assisting congregations to develop plans. Prior to that he served as a parish
pastor for 18 years in Ohio and Maryland.
An acquaintance has described Jim's work in this manner: "One of Jim's
strengths is his ability to speak the language of most folks in the pew. There
are elements of relational witness in his training. Jim has made this his own
unique understanding of how to preserve church membership. His is a scholarly,
