About the Seminar

Just as a person has a distinct personality, so does a congregation – and understanding that personality can lead to a broader understanding of the congregation's behaviors.

During this new, insightful seminar, you will come to understand:

bulletThe five dominant factors which affect a church's personality.
bulletWhy your church behaves as it does.
bulletFactors driving the behavior of your church which you might not have suspected.
bulletWhy knowing your church's personality will help you understand why some things won't change.
bulletHow knowing your church's personality will better help you deal with changes in your congregation.

This seminar is the product of a lifetime spent on serving the church.  It is informed by research and an average of 125 on-site visits to local churches each year for over 25 years.

An acquaintance has described Jim's work in this manner:  "One of Jim's strengths is his ability to speak the language of most folks in the pew.  There are elements of relational witness in his training.  Jim has made this his own unique understanding of how to preserve church membership.  His is a scholarly, multi-disciplined understanding and makes no apologies for a biblical foundation."
